Heavy Duty Carbon Steel Clamps
Neophix Heavy Duty Carbon Steel Clamps are designed and constructed for applications where a very high degree of all round clamping strength is required.
They can be supplied in two basic forms - with or without a tongue:
- The type without a tongue wi widely used in the commercial vehicle industry for securing exhaust pipes where they enter the slotted stub end of the silencer, or, if used in conjunction with a base bracket they can be used a s a mounting clamp for such items as brake reservoirs or air filters.
- With a tongue, they can be used as very heavy duty hose clamps and will withstand the extremely high fitting torques demanded by certain areas of the Hydraulics industry.
Specification
Both types of Heavy Duty Carbon Steel Clamps are made from 1.5" side (38mm) x 16 gauge (1.6mm) high quality, Zinc plated steel. It is secured by means of a high tensile Socket Cap Screw which passes through a cylindrical trunnion at one side and into a cylindrical nut on the other. Both types can be supplied with a Stainless Steel 18/8 band.
