Mounting and Retaining Straps
Neophix Mounting and Retaining Straps are used extensively throughout the commercial vehicle, passenger transport and earth moving equipment business.
The range covers a wide spectrum of applications - the mounting of fuel tanks, reservoirs, alternators and silencers, to name but a few.
Neophix Engineering manufacture Straps to a variety of designs and can also offer a wide range of securing bolts, although the most popular is our forged 'T' bolt which, being captive in a slotted loop, can swivel through more than 100° and thus eliminate the risk of fracture through vibration.
The forged 'T' bolts can be supplied in varying diameters and lengths, from 5/16" (8mm) up to 1/2" (12mm) diameter, with the threaded section in UNF, UNC Whitworth or Metric as specified. Bolt material is either Mild Steel, High Tensile Steel or Stainless Steel, as required. The standard finish for Mild Steel Straps is cellulose primer, but Zinc plating is also available.
Specification
Straps can be supplied in various materials, from 16g Mild Steel through to 3mm thick Hypress 29 or 36 - a specialised high performance Steel used for securing exceptionally large fuel tanks. Aluminised Steel or Stainless Steel is also available.
